Bead

Consumer health data policy

Effective October 19, 2026

Some US state laws, such as Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law, cover information about a person’s health, which may include answers about attention or memory and results like Bead’s. This page says what happens to that kind of information in Bead. The full privacy policy covers everything else.

What Bead may hold

Where it comes from and what it’s for

It comes only from you, in the app. Bead uses it on your phone to say your answers back to you, to set your plan, to show the research ranges for your age band, and to show your progress.

We don’t collect, share or sell it

This information is stored only on your phone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we don’t sell or share it. RevenueCat, the service that checks your subscription, receives purchase records only, never your answers or results. If that ever changes, Bead will ask for your consent first, and this page will be updated before it does.

Your rights

Because the information stays on your phone, you control it there: change your answers in Settings › Your answers, see everything with Export data, and delete all of it with Settings › Reset all data or by deleting the app. We hold none of it, so there is nothing for us to give back or delete. If you have a question or want to confirm this, write to [email protected]; we answer within 45 days.
